Welcome to Well Embroidered Limited. By accessing or using our services, including online courses, live classes, self-paced courses, bespoke embroidery commissions, and free resources, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully before using our website or services.

1. General Terms

  • By accessing our website or services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or have received parental permission to use our services.

  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically, and any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.

  • We are currently unable to sell any courses or products to the EU and Northern Ireland due to new VAT and GPSR rules that came into effect on the January 1st 2025 and the December 13th 2024 respectively. We are working hard to find new ways to supply our EU customers and will update once we have a solution.


2. Online Courses and Classes

  • Enrollment and Access: Once you have completed your course purchase, you will receive login credentials or links to access your content. Please keep your login details confidential.

  • Course Content: Our courses, whether live or self-paced, are for personal educational use only. Course content, including videos, materials, and downloads, may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without permission from Well Embroidered Limited.

  • Self-Paced Courses: You will have ongoing access to self-paced course materials after purchase, unless otherwise specified. Access to self-paced courses is intended for one user per purchase and cannot be transferred.

  • Live Classes: Live class participants are encouraged to join on time. Class recordings will be available after the session, but we are not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s end that may prevent attendance.

  •             Live Classes: May not be recorded or photographed using any electronic media such as but not limited to phones, computers, tablets or laptops. 


2.1 Course materials

  • Course materials can be purchased at the time of booking the course for an additional fee.

  • Course materials include all fabrics, threads, beads, wires, gold threads and needles that are required to complete the design. 

  • Course materials do not include equipment such as but not limited to scissors, pins, frames, hoops, mellors, velvet boards and tweezers.

  • Course materials will be dispatched at least 30 days before the class is due to start.

3. Payments and Refunds

  • Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of purchase for all online courses, live classes, and self-paced courses unless enrolled in a payment plan. We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.

  • Refunds: Refunds are available within 30 days for self-paced courses if less than 20% of the course has been accessed. For live classes, refunds are available 14 days before the course start date or if the class is canceled by Well Embroidered Limited. Bespoke commissions and personalized services are non-refundable after the design process has started.


4. Payment Plans

  • Eligibility: Payment plans are available for certain self-paced and live courses to offer flexible payment options. The terms and availability of payment plans are specified at the time of course enrollment.

  • Installments: Payment plans typically involve multiple installments, with the initial payment due at registration. Each subsequent payment will be automatically billed on the specified dates.

  • Commitment: By enrolling in a payment plan, you commit to completing all installments. Failure to complete payments may result in suspended access to the course until all payments are up to date.

  • Refunds and Cancellation: Refunds for courses purchased through a payment plan are subject to the same refund policy as full payment purchases. If a refund is issued, only completed payments, minus any applicable fees, will be refunded. Partial payments will not be refunded unless otherwise specified in the course policy.

5. Shipping Policy

5.1 Domestic Shipping (Within the UK)

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 3-5 business days of confirmation.

  • Delivery times may vary depending on the selected shipping method but generally range from 3-5 business days.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on order weight, dimensions, and destination.

5.2 International Shipping

  • We offer international shipping to select countries. Delivery times vary by location and are estimated between 7-14 business days.

  • Shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout based on order weight, dimensions, and destination.

  • Customs and Duties:

  • Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs may be before placing your order.

5.3 Order Tracking

• Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details. Please use the provided tracking number to monitor your order’s progress.

6. Customs and Regulations

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the purchased items comply with the import regulations of the destination country.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections or holds.

  • If an order is refused entry by customs or returned due to non-compliance with import regulations, the buyer will be responsible for any additional return shipping fees and customs charges.

7. Returns Policy

7.1 Eligibility for Returns

  • We accept returns within 30 days of receipt of the item, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase is provided.

7.2 How to Initiate a Return

  • To initiate a return, please contact us at info@wellembroidered.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

  • Once approved, we will provide return instructions, including a return shipping address.

7.3 Return Shipping Costs

  • For domestic returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a fault or error on our part.

  • For international returns, the buyer is responsible for both return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties or taxes.

7.4 Refunds and Exchanges

  • Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to process the refund, this can take up to 10 days from the refund being issued

  • Exchanges may be available depending on stock and item availability.

7.5 Non-Returnable Items

  • The following items are non-returnable:

  • Customized or personalized items

  • Items marked down in sale

8. Damaged or Defective Items

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with evidence of the damage or defect (e.g., photos).

  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, for eligible claims.

9. Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement if they have not yet been dispatched.

11. Bespoke Embroidery Commissions

  • Commission Process: For bespoke embroidery projects, we will provide a detailed consultation and a quote based on the scope of work. A 50% deposit is required to begin the project, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

  • Ownership and Usage: Completed commission pieces are the property of the client upon final payment. However, Well Embroidered Limited reserves the right to photograph and use images of commissioned work for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Delivery and Liability: We will arrange shipping for completed pieces, and any shipping costs will be added to the final invoice. We are not responsible for damage or loss during shipping but will take necessary precautions to protect your item.


12. Free Resources

  • Usage Rights: Our free resources, including blog posts, YouTube tutorials, and downloadable materials, are provided for personal educational use. These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior permission from Well Embroidered Limited.

  • Disclaimer: Free resources are offered as-is without any warranty. We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the use of these resources, although we strive to ensure their quality and accuracy.


13. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Well Embroidered Limited website, including but not limited to videos, designs, written content, images, and downloadable resources, is the intellectual property of Well Embroidered Limited and protected by copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.


14. Privacy Policy

  • We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.


15. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Well Embroidered Limited is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that may arise from the use of our courses, services, or products. Our content is provided for educational purposes only, and any implementation of techniques or advice is done at your own risk.

  • We are not responsible for technical issues beyond our control, including but not limited to internet outages, software issues, or user-end technical difficulties.


16. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
